Draw Date and Address

Lottery 2 closes 12:00 Noon AEST Sunday 11/12/2016 and drawn 12:00 Noon AEST Thursday 15/12/2016. Draw conducted at Suite 2/106 Sixth Avenue Maroochydore QLD 4558, Australia. Members of the public welcome.

 

Winners Notification

Winners advised by registered post. Results published Thursday 15/12/2016 on Little Windmills Lottery website www.littlewindmills.com.au and on Wednesday 21/12/2016 in The Australian newspaper.

 

Little Windmills Legends Club Members

To become a Little Windmills Legends Club Member, supporters must:

  •  Purchase a ticket in the current lottery and at least one pre-ordered ticket in the next consecutive lottery (the following lottery opening after the current lottery)

The Legends Club will not be available after the closing date of lottery 1. Lottery 2 will operate without a Legends Club Option.

Little Windmills Legends Club Members with tickets in the current lottery and the next consecutive lottery receive automatic entry into an exclusive VIP draw to win a holiday to the destination of their choice, to the total value of $5,000 or alternatively the Legends Club winner may opt to take $5,000 in Gold Bullion instead.

 

Prizes

The first prize winner chooses Option 1 or Option 2 or Option 3 as follows:

  • Option 1: $20,000 Holiday Package! or
  • Option 2: $10,000 Holiday Package! + $10,000 in Gold Bullion! or
  • Option 3: $20,000 in Gold Bullion!

The winners of the prize valued at $20,000 and the Legends Club prize valued at $5,000 must advise prize selection within 14 days of draw date. All Little Windmills Lottery prizes are not taxable under the prescribed lottery arrangements.

 

Travel Prizes

Please note no spending money is included in any travel prize. Travel must be taken within 12 months and booked within one month of draw date.  Lottery Prize Options and the Legends Club Prize Options are set prizes and are not able to be ‘mixed and matched’.  Gold valued at purchase price on day. Market variations apply.

Special conditions apply to all trips and packages. Travel booked with economy airfares and all airport taxes are pre-paid. Travel prizes do not include travel insurance or any other expenses unless otherwise stated.

All travel prizes need to be booked directly with our selected supplier within one month of the draw date and all travel must be taken within one year of the draw date. If the prize details specify when the winner needs to participate, then the holiday must be taken within that time. Travel prizes can be taken at anytime of the year, with a preference for off-peak periods. The winner must comply with the terms and conditions of the travel center.

 

Tickets

Tickets $5 each. Total number of tickets available: 20,000.

Ticket purchasers must be over 18 years of age.

Only Australian currency accepted.

Lottery tickets are not tax deductible.

Only tickets that have been paid for will be included in the draw/s. All orders received after 12:00 noon AEST on close date or once a lottery has sold out will be unable to be processed and will effect no ticket purchase.

Delivery Policy

After purchasing Little Windmills Lottery Tickets online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY (our payment gateway provider) containing your order details.  Little Windmills uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online Lottery Ticket Purchases.  We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering and send your purchased lottery tickets via Email within one working day.

Refund Policy

The Little Windmills Lottery is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with all ticket purchases in our Lotteries.

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Little Windmills is not obligated to provide a refund for any ‘change of heart’ decision related to the purchase of a ticket in our Lotteries or for donations made to Little Windmills.

However, where an individual believes that an error has been made by either themselves or Little Windmills then Little Windmills will consider the refund on a case by case basis.

All requests for refunds must be made by the person who originally purchased the Lottery tickets or donated the funds. Refund applications should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and emailed to info@littlewindmills.com.au.  For an application to be assessed, please provide information as outlined below:

  • proof of purchase or donation made
  • the payment date
  • the amount of the payment to be refunded
  • the name of the payee (the supporter or donor)
  • a reference number such as an Customer Account Number or Tax Receipt (for donations if known)
  • the reason for the refund request

All tickets not returned by the closing date will be valid for the draw and therefore able to win a prize so cannot be refunded.

All refund requests will be logged into our systems and will be investigated and/or responded to within 20 working days.

Little Windmills will only refund in Australian Dollars. The method of refund will be the same as the purchase method with the exception of cash. In the event a supporter has purchased via cash, the refund will be made via either cheque or direct deposit.

Little Windmills may at its discretion and on a case by case basis refund after the Lottery has been drawn.

 

Eligibility

Tickets are available to be purchased by Australian residents in the states of Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory aged 18 years or over.

In line with state legislation, a person is not eligible to enter Little Windmills Lotteries if they are:

  1. a member of the management committee of the incorporated eligible association conducting the art union/lottery or
  2. directly engaged in conducting the draw of the art union or
  3. the incorporated eligible association conducting the art union or
  4. a member of the immediate family of a person mentioned in points 1 or 2.

Immediate family”, for a person, means the person’s spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the person.

 

Lottery Winners Proof of Identification

Lottery winners will be required to provide identification as proof of their identity to the satisfaction of  lottery organisers.  This may include providing certified copies of photo identification such as their Drivers Licence or 18+ Card, other documents may include certified copies of their Birth Certificate, Medicare Card, Utilities Bill and/or a Statutory Declaration.  All documents may be retained on record by Little Windmills: The Country Kids Charity for a minimum seven years.

Little Windmills Charitable Applications Terms and Conditions

Charitable Applications and Assessments

All applications for charitable assistance are to be made on the appropriate form (Intake and Assessment form) provided by Little Windmills: The Country Kids Charity.

Each application is to be accompanied by a formal statement (on letterhead) from a medical professional/social worker verifying the details in the application for assistance and providing their professional recommendation.

Each application is to be signed by both parents/guardians/care givers wherever possible and applicable (if the child requiring assistance is not of age).

Further documentation and evidence may be requested by Little Windmills at any stage if further documentations is deemed to be required by them.

Each application is assessed by a Little Windmills assessment panel who will make decisions around what assistance (if any) can be provided.

Each application is assessed on a case by case basis, Little Windmills reserves the right to reject claims without explanation.  Each assessment decision is final and non negotiable.

Elements which may influence the Little Windmills assessment panels decision may include:

  • The number of cases being assessed and their relative severity.
  • Little Windmills financial position.
  • The quality and clarity of the information provided.
